Year 2007 - Kata Arah (Prepositions)

A task-based lesson using cartoons to teach prepositions in Malay language. This powerpoint was shared with the Malay department teachers in my school and also other in-service teachers during a workshop which I was invited to present at by my NIE lecturer. Below are details of the workshop:

Objective:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. apply their knowledge of the language approach to teach lower primary Malay
2. use integrated approach to teach lower primary Malay
3. adapt authentic materials for teaching of ML
4. infuse Multiple Intelligence Theory and cooperative learning strategies in the teaching of ML
5. prepare sample schemes of work and lesson plans for ML teaching based on integrated approach
